Jerry is the managing partner of Nichols, Ziemann, Ahmed & Co. and has 20 years experience in public accounting as the founding partner of NZA.  Prior to founding NZA in 1988, Jerry worked earlier in his career with an international accounting firm as a governmental auditing specialist.  After that, Jerry spent 16 years in the private sector as a corporate controller and executive vice president in the manufacturing and construction industries.

Jerry is a licensed CPA and received his Bachelors of Business Administration degree in Accounting from the University of Missouri - St. Louis.  He also received from the Missouri Society of Certified Public Accountants, the CPA of the year award for his work in public accounting.        

Gerry began his career at the accounting firm Price Waterhouse as an auditor before working for 20 years for a manufacturing company.   Gerry worked his way up to the position of Chief Financial Officer.  Gerry then formed Gerald Ziemann & Co., a public accounting firm, and merged with Jerry Nichols to Form Nichols, Ziemann, & Co. in 1989.

Gerry is a graduate of St. Louis University with a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration with a major in accounting.  He is a licensed CPA and, during his time in manufacturing, became an expert on depletion as he advised regulatory agencies that were developing the depletion rules and regulations.

Bob is the audit principal for Nichols, Ziemann, Ahmed & Co with over 15 years of experience in auditing and taxation.  His area of specialization includes non-profit and governmental engagements and he also maintains the quality control systems and firm compliance area.  In addition to his time in public accounting, Bob spent 13 years in private industry.

Bob is a licensed CPA and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Missouri Society of CPA's.  He graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration from the University of Missouri - St. Louis.  Bob had served as a member of the MSCPA's Auditing and Accounting Committee and has worked as a financial volunteer for the United Way's agency allocation process.
